If you have never heard of Rick Warren, or his book The Purpose Driven Life, then chances are you aren't an Evangelical. While Bill's book, Hillary's book, Clarke's book and Moore's diatribes stole the headlines of the MSM, The Purpose Driven Life has quietly sold 20 million copies, and is still climbing. This Time Cover and related articles does a good job of presenting this wide ranging, and increasingly influential, segment of American life.
