But don't let that stop you from reading this book, or seeing the movie for that matter. The accomplishments of Francis Ouimet, and Harry Vardon, for that matter, deserve to be known. You will find yourself cheering and crying at the same time throughout this book. And you'll get a glimpse of life in the early 20th century that few history books could ever give.
