AirAmerika: A Review of the first few days:
Well, I've had some time to listen to the new Liberal Talk Radio network.
The local Chicago station is 950 am.
A little staticky, difficult to keep tuned in at times. Very weak compared to other talk stations in the Chicago metro area.
Oh, and the station doesn't have very good reception either.
At this time, they are more of a bad satire of Conservative Radio, beginning with their "Morning Sedition," and continuing through Al Franken's attempt at matching Rush Limbaugh.
And believe it or not, I'm rooting for them to survive. Opposition voices are important. It's the reason Conservatives moved to AM Radio in the first place.
To survive, they must develop their own voice, rather than ripping off the styles of an already successful genre.
It's not enough to just stand there and say, "Nuh-uh!" to everything that comes from President Bush or the Republicans. They must have their own ideas to present as well. At least so far, that hasn't happened.
