I remember this story, and the media pile on after...and not being able to refute it back then. I mean, they all said the turkey was fake, and a symbol for all that was wrong with the Bush administration. Yet it was the story that was a fake. I am constantly amazed by the difference in media coverage. Obama can do no wrong, Bush could do no right. Yet I would take Bush as President again any day...

Escalation and New Allies: Israel and Saudi Arabia
Selling out Israel has become just one more part of the incompetence of the Obamans. At what point does incompetence become impeachable?

This Is Certainly a Distraction From Obamascare...
We will lift the sanctions if you promise you'll "be good." I'm sure Iran will keep her word to Obama, aren't you?

And this is how it happens. China, Iran, and next North Korea will begin to push. And we do not have a President who will push back. And won't for three loooong years.

Mark Steyn On The Nuclear Option And Obamacare, The Greatest Act Of Punitive Liberalism The Hugh Hewitt Show
Oh so many quotes to choose from in this interview with Mark Steyn...my favorites are the Obama quotes though.
HH: People have got to read the whole piece, but I’ve got to say that’s of a piece with today. You could invent things out of whole cloth. And the President, today, invented outrage at the filibuster. I want to play for you, Mark Steyn, two clips of President Obama in 2005, cut number 8:
BO: But if the right of free and open debate is taken away from the minority party, and the millions of Americans who ask us to be their voice, I fear that the already partisan atmosphere in Washington will be poisoned to the point where no one will be able to agree on anything.
HH: And here’s a second cut from 2005.
BO: Again, I urge my Republican colleagues not to go through with changing these rules. In the long run, it is not a good result for either party. One day, Democrats will be in the majority again. And this rule change will be no fairer to a Republican minority than it is to a Democratic minority.
HH: Mark Steyn, how soon we forget.
And that is the point. Progressives think we won't remember their previous passionate defense of the filibuster...but we do.
A Social Media Fast
It's been tough, and it's only a few hours old. As I'm looking through the web, I keep finding articles I want to share, and then realize I can't. Hmmmm. Facebook withdrawal. Wonder how long it will last?
