lgf: poll results
Okay, its not scientific. But little green footballs does represent a sizable sample of likely voters. Check out the poll on who terrorists would prefer as President. Yep. Kerry wins by a country mile.

Condoleezza Rice for President 2008 - Unofficial Site
Well, the Democrats get their wish, and Condi will testify in public. Here's a possibility for 2008. And don't rule out 2004 as Vice President.
Mark Goldblatt has an excellent look at what Condi's testimony could mean.

AirAmerika: Al Franken and Company
Well, let's get this post over with. Take a listen while they are on the air. They've got enough money to remain viable for quite awhile, alot like John F'ing Kerry....

Numbers do not favor Kerry's bid
Nice look at where the Electoral College numbers stand right now. Remember, its the number of electoral college delegates, not the popular vote that decides the Presidency. Part of that Representative Democracy stuff Democrats would prefer not to focus on. The United States is a republic, after all.

Those Shirts - edgy conservative t-shirts
Not for everyone, but very funny. My Personal Favorite? Celebrate Diversity.
Perfect attire for those rallies the Anti-Iraqi Freedom folks are staging today. Make no mistake. Iraqi freedom is exactly what they are protesting, regardless of what their canned, trite slogans may say.
Had the protestors had their way, Saddam and his sons would still be in charge, and the rape rooms, mass murder and evil would still be occurring. So much for "bleeding heart liberals." The only bleeding going on was from the soldiers who died to give Iraq a chance at freedom, and the people of Iraq who had to live under an oppressive, evil regime.

Vice President Cheney's Speech
This is my favorite quote:
I leave it for Sen. Kerry to explain, or explain away, his votes and his statements about the war on terror, our cause in Iraq, the allies who serve with us and the needs of our military. Whatever the explanation, whatever nuances he might fault us for neglecting, it is not an impressive record for someone who aspires to become commander in chief in this time of testing for our country. In his years in Washington, Sen. Kerry has been one vote of a hundred in the United States Senate--and fortunately on matters of national security, he was very often in the minority. But the presidency is an entirely different proposition. The president always casts the deciding vote. And the senator from Massachusetts has given us ample doubts about his judgment and the attitude he brings to bear on vital issues of national security.
The American people will have a clear choice in the election of 2004, at least as clear as any since the election of 1984. In more than three years as president, George W. Bush has built a national security record of his own. America has come to know the president after one of the worst days in our history. He saw America through tragedy. He has kept the nation's enemies in desperate flight, and under his leadership, our country has once again led the armies of liberation, freeing 50 million souls from tyranny, and making our nation and the world more secure.

John Kerry, Bush's Advisor On Iraq
From Human Events. Great look at Sen. Kerry's stand. Well reasoned, and a pretty good game plan, considering The White House used it. A shame Mr. Kerry no longer supports his own editorial.

And Iran, North Korea, and the caves and spider holes of Afghanistan and Pakistan, among the PLO, the IRA, ETA.....what does this tell you?

World War IV: A Western Democracy Seeks Appeasement over Strength
Many articles on the vote in Spain. This one from The Center For Security Policy may be the most succinct.
And, while the mainstream press focuses on the failure in Spain, our allies in the coalition have pledged their continued support.

The Death of Hubble
Few issues cross ideological lines like this one.
Doesn't matter if you are conservative or liberal, Hubble deserves to keep going.

How To Speed-Read the Net - Ditch your browser—RSS makes surfing for news a joy. By Paul Boutin
Okay, I admit it. I'm a news junkie, specifically politics, but I flavor my addiction with space, culture wars, history, etc. This article has made my addiction much easier to handle.

John Kerry's Waffles - If you don't like the Democratic nominee's views, just wait a week. By Michael Grunwald
Might as well get rolling. If you don't read this now, you'll see this again, and again, and again. Eight months is a looooong time.
