A Bold Move...

House Republicans Force Vote on Iraq Resolution

This is a very bold move by Rep. David Dreier, R-Calif., and other Republicans to try to end this divisive debate.
Republicans sought political advantage Friday by forcing a vote to put the House on record once again rejecting calls for a timetable for withdrawing U.S. forces from Iraq.

Just weeks ago, the Republican-controlled chamber voted against an immediate pullout.

Of course this very well may be more divisive at first, but I do think it needs to be said.

I did however find one thing in this article rather funny...
Some Democrats objected to the frequent use of the word victory. "What is victory? Nobody has defined what victory is," Rep. Jim McGovern, D-Mass., said.

This would be the very foundation of the debate; Democrats don't know how to win, so they don't know what Victory is... However ask any military man what victory is and they will tell you "When we achieve our stated goals" in this case "A Stable, Free, and Relatively Secure Iraq" - A very achievable goal.
